Julia Wright
Practice Owner & Managing Biokineticist Founder
Julia attained a BSc Sports Science and her Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Johannesburg. She has a keen interest in progressive neurological disorders and post-operative rehabilitation after joint replacements and ligament reconstruction. Julia enjoys working with older adults, particularly in fall prevention, functional strengthening, and dynamic balance training, with a strong emphasis on body awareness and proprioception. She is an active 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do and has been teaching since 2004.

Masana Ndlovu
Registered Biokineticist
Masana completed her undergraduate degree in Human Movement Sciences at North-West University and her Honours in Biokinetics at Wits. She joined the practice in 2023 after completing her internship, and subsequently completed her Master's degree in Geriatrics at UJ. Her clinical focus is orthopaedic injuries with a special interest in geriatric care. She also manages sports-related injuries and provides general strength and conditioning rehabilitation.

Michaela Goncalves
Registered Biokineticist
Michaela attained a BHSc in Biokinetics followed by her Honours at the University of Witwatersrand, and joined the practice in 2025. She is passionate about the elderly population and believes quality of life can be meaningfully improved through movement and holistic health. Michaela has a special interest in out-patient orthopaedic care and neurological conditions, and stays actively engaged with emerging research in ageing and neurological treatment.

Rene Grobler
Registered Biokineticist
Rene attained her Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Cape Town and joined the practice in 2026 after completing her internship at the Rosebank sports centre. She enjoys working with elderly and neurological patients and is dedicated to helping individuals regain their confidence, achieve their daily functional goals, and restore their independence. Rene lives by the belief that anything is achievable if you put your mind to it.
